my car is a 93 civic EX with greddy turbo intercooled and at about 8psi. i was dragracing yesterday and on my 3rd run with a mustang, smoke started coming through my dash and floor area so i let off and looked up from my guages and the mustang had blew its motor to shreds up ahead and was pouring out mass smoke so i let off so i didnt get hit by anything jumping across the lanes. so anyway i drive back and get my slip and park. my girl showed me the taped run and to my surprise there was mass white smoke that came from under my car and all out the back. as i leave the track with my best time being a 15.6 @ 91.04mph with a 2.8 60ft cuz of bald *** tires, i get on it and my girl said she saw smoke in the car and i thought i saw some out the rear view. i did a few more pulls and mass smoke started coming through the dash and floor. the weird thing is my car rolls fine. no weird sounds, still boost fine, still pulls strong, but the smoke from the engine is coming in the car. what in the hell could it be?? my friend whos a tech at honda said he doesnt think its anything internal since there are no noises and no loss of power. we're gonna pull it apart on sunday and look for the problem. i took it for a short drive today and got on it pretty good and went back in the garage and looked at it. smoke appeared to come from dipstick/under turbo area and come up right above the manifold. HELP!!!

 

suck some ford engine bits into the turbo?

 

no i didnt get any parts in my turbo. they didnt even come into my lane...i was just being cautious because i saw **** flying over in his lane and i didnt wanna chance it. anybody help me!!!!

 

White smoke = blown headgasket?

 

could be blown gasket....if it is tho, then it must be slight cuz my oil level and coolant level are cool and dont look like theyve mixed. any more speculations???

 

get a comp check.. that will tell ya..
