Default WHISTLING?? good bad???

I have a t3/t4 turbo b18b and as i'm driving it whistles. Seems like the faster I go the louder. Is this normal?

that thing under your hood is spinning 80K +. youd whistle too if you were spinning that fast.

I like that, especially since my welder whistles every damn second of the day...

Depending on the whistle, it could be a small hole boost leak. Have heard them whistle before.

What type of BOV? Maybe that needs adjusting, although some only leak/whistle at high vacuum (0% throttle).

I could understand it whistling if you put on a shorter, less restrictive intake/filter or a much bigger exhaust. Otherwise, check for leaks.

you have my permission to use my half.

to make you feel better, the te32e on my t type never shut up. was always screaming. my t3to4b was a little loud on my old setup too. if you don thave a boost leak, you are fine.
