Default Where to mount 60mm guages?

I wanna get the 60mm electronic warning guages, but don't know where to mount them. What have you guys done. Greddy does make A-pillar mounts for them, but I'd like to keep my guages off of there if I can.

My only idea was one guage on the pillar and two where the ashtray and lighter are (thats all that will fit down there.

Give me your ideas. Pictures would be even better.

i have a gsr dash in my 93 hatch and i have two gauges where the illumination control and the cruise ***** used to be. i just relocated those and made the holes bigger. it is in a much better location for viewing than the a-pillar because you don't have to turn your head. and it is sleeperish, others can't see them and start questioning what you may have. you can also get the autometer bezel with the dual gauges. that is good because it puts your gauges close together, how they should be. besides those, i have my air/fuel gauge mounted on the actual dash face between where the cruise used to be and the steering wheel. the air/fuel sticks out because i did not cut a huge hole for it but instead drilled two little holes and put the two mounting screws in the back through them and put the fasteners on the back to secure it. doing it like this, the entire gauge is on the outside and the wires go right through the dash. it actually looks quite nice and i haven't seen it done like that before. wish i had pics but i don't.

i am not sure about putting 60mm into the auto meter bezel because they have 2 1/16" holes. you may be able to bore them out, but the space on the inside might not be enough. as for the cruise and illumination locations, yes...you would just use a hole saw for something close to 60mm.

Puttin the gauges at the cruise control and the dimmer switch doesn't seems visible to me. I have a 01 GSR and it doesn't seem too visible I wish you had a pix of your gauges mount ho focker so I can see how visible it is to you when driving. To me seems hard to see.

I think the visibility depends on the position of your seat when you are driving. I have the J&S dual monitor where the dimmer switch was and I can see it just fine.

i see them just fine. it does depend on where your steering wheel tilt is and how much your seat is laid back. they wouldn't be there if i couldn't see them. i don't know, it's not a bad location because lots of people do this. actually...most people i know with 3g integra's take advantage of the locations. i guess i could put them on the a-pillar but i would much rather keep them where they are for sole viewing purposes.

Yeah I guess you guyz are right. It could be how my seat is and my steering wheel. So its better to sacrifice cruise control and dimmer? For 2 gauges?? Damn I would love to see pix of this close up. Gotta see how it looks Anyone??????
