so i got my rings in for my stock bore h22a and they are all under sized (so i can file fit) except for the number 2 compression rings. I wanted to filed these to .020 but i recieve them at .026. .027, .028, .028 . well the shitty thing about it is the max service spec is .028. But all of the number 1 comp. rings were all under spec, and filed to fit nicely.

so i call honda up and they won't do dick about it. all he has to say is that "well most of our customers that order these don't measure them, they just install them"

All they will do is take ALL of the rings back and refund my credit card for the cost of the rings. But i've got 25 bucks in shipping, plus i'd have to pay for shipping back to honda.

anyone work at a honda dealer that can help me out

well if you want to send them back i can get them a whole lot cheaper than youd pay yourself

complain, say you are going to contact american honda. the dealer will not have to pay shipping back to honda, nor will they have to pay for shipping on another set.

I was a parts guy at a honda dealer for almost a year.

that would be helpful, but i think the chances are very good that the next set of rings will be the same way.

i did,i had a 20min conversation with the guy, the only thing he'd even budge on is refunding my credit card for the cost of the rings if i send them back

well you never know. it is worth a try. do what the above poster said. and tell them that you will write a letter, most managers hate letter writers
