Do you have Fastenal where you are? I think that's where I got mine... I don't think they were X series if those are new because I got mine years ago (and have had zero problems with bolts loosening off since) but they might be able to get them.

I placed my order from them last week to and they cancelled it. They dont sell to canadians. I even tried to get them to ship to my US mail box, but they noticed I was in Canada from my IP and declined.
I dont think they carry the X series anyways.
Has anyone had luck sourcing the X series?

Using them on everything related to my exhaust that gets hot. Ive had nothing but problems with bolts loosening constantly, huge pita.
turbo -> manifold (4)
manifold -> head (9)
wastegate -> manifold (2)
dumptube -> wastegate (2)
downpipe -> turbo (5)
I was hoping to order directly, but I may end up having to find an ally in the u.s.a

Re: Where to buy NordLock washers
have you tried a local nut/bolt/fitting store? they tend to stock almost everything. I know there's a supply company near me in Marietta that stocks Nordlock.. I could call them Monday and see if they have the x series in stock or if they can order them
then I could buy the quantity and size you want and mail them to you, skipping a lot of the headaches.
if they dont have Nordlock and you can't find any, then copper deformed thread lock nuts are the way to go. they are cheap and easily obtained.
I've used them before on my Sr20 s13 coupe with solid motor mounts and stiff coils, and a welded diff (lots of vibrations). I used the copper deformed thread locknuts on the exhaust manifold studs, turbine inlet studs, turbine outlet/downpipe studs and never had an issue... and I daily drove the car over 100 miles each day and slid the car a bit... not one of them ever came loose
another option is to use standard nuts and washers and drill the nuts to use safety wire. I do this in addition to lock nuts/lock washers... when properly safety wired a nut or bolt will not move (our AMA supersport and superbike bikes have everything safety wired and after a long weekend of racing don't even loose torque)
but like I said, if that local supply shop has Nordlock products or can order them (x series or standard) I would be more than happy to help you out and order them, pick them up, then mail them to you. I pass by the place at least once a month and don't mind a bit as long as it helps you out. I can just put product sample on the customs declaration to avoid delays and fees

Re: Where to buy NordLock washers
I would try calling them, you never know
but I'm going to get on McMasterCarr today and figure out what's what and if the different shipping address doesn't cause an issue
