good: a lot more flow.
but with a GT35R, I'm gonna say it's not necessary for you.
bad: friggin huge. Space is an issue for sure. Piping is expensive and mufflers are expensive. loud!

I have a 84.5mm B16, GT35R, Open 4 inch downpipe. Not that loud until you get on it, has a nice deep rumble cruising and at idle. Fitment was an issue, took some time to mock up and then get tig welded together. It gave me a noticeable better spool time over my 3 inch downpipe. My car used to fall out of boost for a split second with the three inch, with the 4 inch it spools right back up between shifts
