I'd really like to see what the King Motorsports modded performer-x would do.

It's hard to make the $900 commitment, maybe Santa will be nice this year.

If you really wanted awesome intake manifold and budget is of no issue the old air carbon fiber intake manifolds were great pieces, as are the full race, and BMC race manifolds

I do the same thing, it can get quite annoying. You start thinking about all the possibilities of what you could do and it gets overwhelming. Both of your choices will be more than adequate for your power goals but when shooting for the quest of endless power you need 1 of the higher end ridiculously expensive options

MY thought with the Modded PX is kinda best of both worlds. Reasonable runner length plus a large plenum.

To get an idea how much volume the PX has vs the ITR & B16

If I wanted something that looked like Dr. Frankenstein made it, I would just make my own out of aluminum stock...

The regular Skunk2 is basically a direct copy of the ITR. The Blox is a knock-off of the Skunk2. The China no-name ones are copies of that. The rabbit hole goes a lot deeper than that. Your best bet is to get something like a regular Skunk2 and modify it to your needs and liking. If you are looking for an out of the box setup, it is going to be hard to beat the Victor-X manifold. At this point, you are greatly over thinking it.

Remember kids, you can make a smaller plenum act like a larger one and vica-versa but you can't exactly change the characteristics of the runners so easily. From mild to wild a turbo Honda should have shorter runners. That is my opinion anyways.
