when to upgrade stock differential to an lsd???
Yea, my stock motor gsr spun a little if you didn't slip the clutch alot. After boost, it would spin through 3rd with the stock tires!!! Now I'm in the process of building it up so I'm going with an LSD.
93 DX HB, stock 102hp D15 on slicks.......exploded tranny.
added upgrades, 135 hp on slicks, POP!!!!!!
Then dropped in a D16Z6, never another diff failure, I had the power to "haze" the slicks.
If your going racing, Quaife or Kaaz, nothing else.

I wish these fkr's cost less
EDIT: I know the phantom lsd is ghetto - but how do you guys feel about it?

Though I haven't used them I would also add, Mugen, Cusco, and ATS as viable options also. (notice* phantom grip not listed here

I would stay with a helical type diff and not go with a clutch type. Quaife has a warranty also, so thats money well spent for a lifetime of usage.
