When piecing together a turbo kit where to look 4 turbo
Hey what up HT.
I was wondering where are some of the places you would look for a turbo. Right now I'm looking for a journal bearing T3/T4 turbo made by repituble company. (Turbo may be used). And I dont want to spend more than 400$ on the turbo. Im always on Ebay. But I dont tend to see the buys that I want. Preferably Im looking for the T3/T04E from garrett (which I believe is 57 trim turbo with different A/R's available.) What are some places that you would look If you were in my shoes.
On a side note, This word "trim" I am little confused as to what it discribes. For the most part I have read that it is a ratio between the inducer and exducer and then multiply by 100. But more and more I see people in different places describing it as something else. Also sometimes when a person describes a turbo they will often give this decimal reading for example .60. I just wanted some clarification as to how are the different ways to describe a turbo.

http://cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.net/ - bought 2 so far, buying a third from these guy's in the fall.
http://www.atpturbo.com/
for $200 more than you want to spend you could get a brand new (non-ebay) garrett turbo, with out having to worry about it's history.
