Default what's in your H22?

Anyone running 6-8 psi of boost out there in a h22? What kind of turbo are you guys running? Costs? On ebay they have been having these turbo kits that are only $700-800 are those trust worthy for 7 psi? I know this question probably has came up already, i apologize if you had to read it again.. just lookin for ideas since im tryin to boost my lude.

Read the FAQ post stickied at the top of this forum. If you want a proper turbo set-up that will not blow your engine, plan on spending $3000-$4000 on it. Those ebay kits are garbage.

Like we talked about in that PM, you just need to tell us your budget, power goals, and if you need to pass Smog tests. After that, we will be able to help you out a lot better. Also, you get what you pay for most of the time....the Ebay kits are pretty much junk!

another thing you may want to do is a compression and leakdown test in order to see if your Prelude can handle boost or if it will need some internal work.

if u only want a 40-50whp gain go for nitrous. dont waste your money on a turbo setup for that little amount of power.

yep,and also a lil 75 shot on a single foger will give you more than 40-50whp gains and you will be happy and can run that all daylong with no problems.
