What's the difference between the old AVC-R and the new one?
Becides the fancy blue screen, does the new version have any new abilities?

Are you talking about this one?
This AVC-R has been on the market for 4 years. You get gear based boost control, scramble boost, automatic boost mapping and a host of other features.
It also shows boost, tachometer, speed, TPS, injector duration,,,,,,
Or are you talking about a newer model?

It looks to me like it's just like a profec B. What's the question here? It's older and not as fancy. There is no pretty blue display. I don't think it does anything beyond boost control.

Im pretty sure that one doesnt have gear dependant boost. The feature that really makes the AVCR worth it.

Would the gear dependent part work on my car since my Civic doesnt have a gear selection sensor, and if so how?
