You'll find that most people only have issues with stock if they have warped heads/blocks. MLS requires it to be PERFECTLY FLAT, that means machining marks too. OEM MLS is as good or better than any aftermarket offering for Honda IMO.

OEM is the best but I believe they are only good up to an 82mm bore for a b-series. I am making 476 whp, 323 tq with my stock headgasket

I've read about 100 threads on this...about 75% of the time, Cometic gets shitty reviews...I personally got a cometic and I'm burning coolant, so Cometic I say is a NO GO.
I'd get a GE bored out OEM headgasket. And it can't hurt to spray it down with some copper gasket spray, just don't over do it.

I'm not saying cometics can't work well on our applications, but I'd definately say more than half of them wind up getting replaced with OEM gaskets after a few weeks.

I am a fan of the oem/ golden eagle gasket when it can be used. I do however have cases where i need a little thicker gasket to makeup for clearance issues and use a cometic gasket without issues. Both work fine.
