If you already have the B18C1, the stick with it. lots of power potential.. if you want an all out race car and can spend the money, go for the H22A.

Considering the very poor results most people are getting from boosted H22As I would not touch one with a ten-foot pole.
If anything I would think about maybe a CR-Vtec 2.0/2.1 liter - that would be a monster under boost.

if you really want the displacement so bad put an LS crank and LS crowers in your B18C, that is a 2.0L and can still rev the frig out of it becasue of squirters and girdle.

I think he meant it as a joke. Basicaly you would have an LS dispacement of 1834cc's. Unless the bore was increased the displacement would remain the same.

No I am pretty serious, but gave snafued details thanks for catching that - use prelude crank and ls rods that will give you 2.0, and use a piston with very low wrist pin and you get 2.2L, I have the actual specs but Im doing my day job now.

Re: Whatcha think? (rtype11)
you mean use a b20a1 crank from the older preludeds correct. Becuz the h22a wont work for sure. But wont that through your rod stroke ratio back to a prelude level which wass *** to begin with.

Get a set of 84.5mm pistons for the B18C and get it resleeved. I'm gonna enjoy the hell outta my turbo B20C...
The H22A's can build lots of power but w/o a good set of slicks and some serious chasis mods the torque produced will leave you spinning at the line or breaking axles like they were toothpicks.
