what would YOU do.....
heres the deal.......my DRAG manifold was casted poorly, to give you an idea, the lower center bolt wouldnt even go through the hole, so i had to file down the bolt, then the manifold itself, then i had to file the **** out of one of my wrenches just so i could tighten it, cause no stock wrench would fit in there.
Now my dipstick wont fit through the hole. My options:
Ben has graciously said that he would replace it if it is infact poorly casted, this means taking everything off, sending it, waiting for him to get it, waiting for him to get one from DRAG, and him sending one to me
i could get an aftermarket manifold, again same wait time
or
I could figure out a way to bend the pipe that my dipstick slides into (I prefer to do this) so i can get my damn dip stick in,
OR
i could plug the hole, and routinely change my oil every 2k RELIGIOUSLY, can anyone offer any sideeffects of plugging the hole, or possible solutions to my problem?

We experienced the exact same problems with the DRAG kit we installed on my roommate's ITR. Here is what we did:
#1. Move passenger side stud the center. This will allow you to use the nut instead of the bolt. Much easy to got on!
#2. Cut off the flange around the top of the dip-stick. This makes it a bit narrower and easier to navigate around the stud and nut.
#3. We used a dremel and slightly notched the manifold casting. Just do a lil' at a time and test fit. It didn't take all that much.
We were able to squeeze the dip-stick around the nut with just a tad bit of force. Still comes out pretty easy! Hope that helps ya. Took us about an hour total to figure this out and do it!

I didn't even put the damn center bolt in. Mine works great for now. I don't have to worry about the dipstick not fitting either. Just make sure that all the other bolts are evenly and properly torqued down. I doubt you'll have a problem. Maybe I'm wrong, we'll see.
