BIG catch can for acura/honda. 1.25gallon capacity
A friend of mines is thinking on making custom breather/catch cans. Here is one he built for me so that it will fit into the DC2 stock battery location. Has 4 10an ports and 1 10 an port on the bottom of the catch can for drain back that will have a hose to a butterfly valve on it so that i can drain it once its full. Capacity is roughly 1.2 gallons.
On with the pics.
What do you guys think.
PM me if you want one. This would be perfect for the guys that do not want to pay 500-700 for a really expensive breather setup. Also weld AN fittings of any size on any valve cover (Provide your own valve cover). I can also provide you with my friends phone number if needed.

Re: What is it worth????? Catch can for acura/honda.
Friend said he was in a hurry when he was welding this one up so the welds would of been way better looking. I wanted it this big for my b20v turbo setup. And depending on the size of the catch can and what an fittings the costumer will want. It will depend on the price. The one posted above. He would probably charge around 250-350 for this type of catch can. Really reasonable price IMO. What do you think would be a reasonable price for one of these?

Thanks. My friend is a fabricator so coming up with a fire wall one wont be a problem. I came up with the idea for this one so coming up with an fire wall mounted one or by customers order wont be an issue at all since he has access to all the tools he needs etc etc.
PM ME IF ANY ONE INTERESTED. My friend is looking to fund his race car some how over the winter.
Thanks

endyn's legit catch can kit comes fully equipped for 200

its a smaller size unit, but if you sell the cans bare you could probably sell a **** ton for about 50-75 dollars. Just dont go overboard on fittings and such. Most people arent looking for anything crazy like that full drag can setup you posted.

We will design another setup right now and have it made within the next few days. I am thinking something round out of 2.5" or 3" aluminium pipe. X amount of height. With like a 10an inlet and a small drain back hole to either block or you can run a hose and have a butterfly valve so you can drain the can with out taking it off. 1/2" breather filter with perforated baffle plate. One or two inlet holes going in on the top from the valve cover. Keep it nice and simple and yet effective and of course be affordable for the regular billy joe that does not have a budget of a racing team. =D
