Default What Vortech FMU for this situation

I have a chance to pick up a 10:1 Vortech FMU for under $100 NIB. the thing is, I do not know if this would work for the setup I am building. Here is what I have.

H22.
T3/T4 turbo
RC 440 injectors
AEM FPR
AEM Fuel Rail
VAFC

Now, will the 10:1 FMU work ok with those injectors seeing as I ccan change the fuel with the AEM and the VAFC? I plan on running around 6 to 8 psi for now.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I think that will be too big. try going with a smaller fmu disk. 8:1 or 6:1 should be good.

Yeah, I second that. 8:1 or 6:1, you don't wanna run too high fuel presure.

Thanks. That sucks, cuz it is a good deal. Oh well. I could by the recalibration kit, but then I might as well just order a whole new one.

How much boost do you think I would have to run before this would be worth it?

If you're running an inline pump I suppose you can boost 8psi w/ a 10:1 FMU and 440's, but then again, with the healty size of your injectors I don't really think you need that much pressure at the rail. I'd agree with everybody else, an 8:1 FMU and some tuning on the V-AFC and you should be fine for 8psi, even an 8:1 might be a slight overkill but I'd start there and work down.

it will be to rich, just get it anyway and buy a disk, I think you'll need a 6:1 disk.

6:1 might even be too much for 440cc injectors. Get the 6:1 and the 4:1. Play around with both. You can always get the 6:1 and bleed off some pressure from the signal line, to make it kinda like 5:1.
