The time is getting nearfor me to install my turbo setup (woot) here is my question.
What should i use for my gaskets, for the ipeturbo to mani, downpipe, dumptube and wastegate? I have heard some people say use the metal gaskets and i have heard some say use rtv. I just wanted everyone's opinion.

I made my own lol
We even used tin cans on my buddies ef. Its a very thin plyable metal. He fabbed the kit over the summer so we had a lot of time to make gaskets, was free and works mint
I dont think you need one from the mani -> turbo though, should be perfectly flat if there new. Or in can that ish lol, instead of spending $60 of gaskets
Buy a 2 24's of Bud cans, get hammerred with some buddies and make some gaskets lol

I run 0 gaskets in my turbo setup. Aside from the the stock block to mani gasket that i have. I found that it isn't really necessary for my goals since all the surfaces were machined when I got them anyway I really didn't need them. Any slighty inconsistencies were held up by the carbon build up. No leaks or anything anywhere.
A lot of people run it like this
PS: I have a turbo to mani gasket if you want. Actually I have 2. It for a t3 turbine

If youre working with new, good clean machined parts then you might get away with it.
Just added insurance to make one out of a tin can lol, you know you wanna drink that pepsi then make it functional in your turbo setup

normally i don't use gaskets because all the mating surfaces are machined pretty well, but if you want a site go to http://www.atpturbo.com or http://www.roadraceengineering.com
