Default What turbo for my Evo 6?

Hey ppl

Just curious as to what turbo you guys think I should use for my 4G63 in my Evo 6. Looking for daily drivability with a decent powerband, and around 450hp without having to boost 2 bar Currently the engine is stock, so I guess i'll have to invest in some cams and possibly some headwork to get that much power. If I can keep the bottom end stock, it'd be nice

How about the GT35R? I've been hearing a lot of ppl talking about it..

I know this is Honda-Tech, but I know the ppl here in the FI forums are smart
You guys helped me out in the past with my turbo EK and turbo DC2.. why not with the evo

Much thanks

first off, you have a damn fine car. you lucky bastard.

now the GT35R is nice, but its a little too much for what your looking for, not too mention the "R" option (ball-bearing) gets to be kind of expensive. might want to look at a large t3/t04e, maybe 57 or 60 trim + some HKS cams. im not sure if the stock bottom end can hold that much power reliably for too long, but youll see. maybe contact AGP and they can set something nice up for you.

maybe when your done you can donate your old 16g to poor 16 year old like me?

good luck,
kyle
