What are the turbo guy's building today?!
Hi,
since the golden years of "every week 50whp more" are over and we are sattled at around 1000whp for a lot of money... and 500-600whp setups can be seen on almost any corner, i'am interested in what setup the average turbo enthusiast is building?!
what are the goal's / intentions of today or is it just to build an ordinary turbo setup and thats it?
Just curious...

300-400hp on the street means drive-ability, above that, your asking for trouble on a daily basis when it comes to reliability. Remember, the cars were designed for 140hp, not 500. The harder you push, the more ***** gonna wanna fail.

I personally think the bottom line is still the same, the bottom line being everyones opinions and choices are gonna differ and that's how they are going to build their car/turbo setup. Some people want gobs of horsepower while others only want to make it a little faster and still be reliable. Its just personal opinion

Looking to build a nice DD that runs 11.5s and gets 30mpg with cruise and A/C. It is all I can afford! I love the fact that everyone has different budgets and goals. It makes this hobby so much more interesting. I especially like when you find somebody who is interested in the same things you are and has the same goals and you can help each other reach those goals.
This week, still looking for a clean un molested 93-95 white ex civic coupe. Installing a few small things on the engine sitting in the shed.
