yeah I narrowed that down , but I didnt know if anyone knew exactly which one I was thinking t25.... It has a little shaft play so I am worried about using it , how hard would it be to rebuild it? how much would you expect a shop to charge me?

So how much shaft play are we talking about?
I find a lot of customers jump the gun on a turbo rebuild due to shaft play. They don't need to be perfectly tight to do their job efficiently. They should have SOME play (less is better, but you should have a bit).
Are the blades making any sort of contact with the housing? That would be the kicker.
You might be able to take it to a shop that services turbos and any decent technician should be able to inform you on the severity of the play...
I just hate to see you throw money away on a rebuild if the turbo has lots of life left.
on another note, when installed are you getting any smoking from the turbo/exhaust??
These just a few questions to try to clear up justification for rebuilding...
Good luck!!

I like the username lol.

it doesnt touch the housing but it clicks when you wiggle it , I would say it has life left , just hesitant to use it. I might make a vid tonight.

if its a dsm stock one, its a 14B turbo, i believe. you could get 250 out of a d series with it. a few people on here have done it already.
