What turbo is this???
I just bough a turbo for a pretty good deal. The thing is that I'm not sure what size it is or who makes it. Kid did not really know what size it is, he thinks it's a hybrid 60trim .60/.63 AR. Exhaust housing has precision with .63AR stamped on it, intake side only has .60 on it. Anybody have any ideas what it is, I'm clueless when it comes to turbo sizes and all that ****. Thanks

I do believe you have a Precision SC44 (should be a 44 im no expert) , which i also have and i love it. Its a Garett turbo with a precision turbine housing.
Very good turbo. If your using it on a honda, depending what kind of manifold (exh) that 90* elbow may have to be removed.

i wouldn't mess with the paint, its not hurting anything, mine has it too.
your more likely to mess up the fin f'in with the paint.

Take off the wheels and measure them. Then go on majesticturbo.com and find out what turbo you have. No one can look at the housings of a turbo and know the trim of the compressor wheel unless they can find a turbo serial number on it and know the serial numbers. It's a T3/t04e. What trim really doesn't matter in the end, but if you want to know, you have to measure the compressor wheel.
Also if you want to leave the turbo as is, looks like the compressor wheel will have to be on the drivers side. You will also have to use a traditional intercooler setup and not a backdoor setup. You can just cut off the welded on cast elbow, but I don't see any reason you have to unless you want to keep AC.

I just talked to the kid, he said it came with rev hard turbo kit. I also got turbo smart wastegate with it. Anybody know anything about that kit?
So is it Precision SC44 turbo? I looked at some pix online and it defently looks like it, I know I sound retarded right now and plenty people want to flame me sorry.
If so what trim is it? And how well will it work on stock b18c1 on 6-10psi?

I use it on my GSR at 7.25 (half bar) lbs and it runs great. Very good turbo for that use, actually would be better to use for higher output than that. You aren't even starting to use that turbo at around 6 or so psi. Mine hits full spool right at 4k and pulls hard to 8k and would keep goin but i shut it down there.
Look at precisions web site and you can identify the turbo there.
the part number on mine is a 6031E. your should be the same

Don't clean the paint off it is there for a reason and if you take it off now you will need to rebalance the wheels.
