What tool to cut bumper support?
I was installing my intercooler today so I could make the cuts for my I/C piping. Everything went smoothly until I tried to put the bumper back on. It hung like 2" below the bumper. The bumper would not go completely on without cutting the under trim.
So I know have to cut ~2" off my bumper support. What tool did you guys use for this? I bought a metal grinder but then I realized how much of a pain that would be to grind away the long horizontal parts of the support. Just looking for ideas so that I can hopefully take a stab at this tomorrow.

I would use a plasma cutter personally, however I think a die grinder wiht the right bits can do the job.
A Sawzall would also cut right through it with the right blades.

My Craftsman Recipricating (sp?) saw made short work of it with some 24tpi blades

I've cut many with my hypertherm plasma, a machine/welding shop shouldn't charge you that much since it should take about 2 mins or less to do it with a plasma!
