what is this thing on the fuel rail? do i needed for a aftermarket golden eaagle fuel rail?
oh sorry i forgot to add im using steel braided lines. do i still need that?

it is a pulse dampener. and if the GE rail has AN style fittings on the end of it you will not need the dampener. it is used to keep the fuel pump quiet.
if your referrin to the plastic cover bulky thing its called the muffler baffle has two crush washer one on each side mates the fuel line to the rail
thats the factory banjo fitting, under that plastic cap is a screw, i think its called the fule system bleeder screw, for when yo uneed to remove the rail and remove pressure, you wont need it if you are running a stainless line, but you will need a fittin from the rail to an -AN fitting, GE knows what size they are
