it is a missing link check valve for motors that have a map sensor on the fire wall instead of ontop of the throttle body.

if your map is on the firewall you have a vac. line going from somewhere on the intake manifold to the map sensor. Cut that line, and put this inbetween.

well it's a fancy check vavle...that for if ur runnin like a FMU setup...if you have a EMS u don't need that....if you do need that ...it goes in between the map sensor and the intake mani....its so the map sensor does not see boost

 

im not running boost, do i still need it ?
