Default MAP sensor bypass?

Hello all. I have a question about the map sensor on a SOHC VTEC 93 civic. Is there a way to bypass the map sensor not to read boost and only keep vacuum for the Map sensor? Ive researched that a way to do it is to put a "check valve" on it to keep the vacuum going one way consistantly. could you please help me?

Instead of saying, "do a search" (is it working already?) I'll go ahead and tell ya!

Invest in a Missing Link. importparts.com that will cure your problem and look oh-so-pretty.

Or buy plastic tee's and hook up 2-4 Aquarium fish-tank check valves to the map. I believe your map is on the throttle body? You'll need to remove your map, then just take a Tee and shove it in the hole. Its a wonderful friction fitting. hook up your check valves off of it.

i prefer the latter.
