I have a custom turbo kit on an 95 LS motor. I am in the midst of doing another complete rebuild and I am going to build it for 14-16 psi....what needs to be done to the block. and the main question is what SIZE INJECTORS do i need to get????

Keep in mind I drive it every day and make frequent 3 hour highway trips..

 

sleeved, pistons and rods, basically a rebuild or exchange for a built block. 440 injectors will support up to about 15 lbs if i remember correctly.

 

It's really hp dependent. 440's will fuel (if I remember correctly) between 300-350 maxed, and this is of course a variable depending on fuel pressure!! Gotta love these variables!

 

So if I am running only like 9 psi on the street and highway can I still use those injectors. or would it bedumping to much fuel..??

 

That's fine if you're going w/ a standalone

 

550 at very high duty cycle decent idle, 720CC to max out the boost at around 85-90% duty cycle, this is intended based on standalone not FMU.
almost forgot - no flames, do the injector math, you will find that 550 should jsut fit, but you can never go to overboard with good fuel, you can always take fuel out, but when injectors are maxed your screwed. try driving 440cc maxed out at 90% for a few minutes and see what happens, on big injectors you also get an nice spray pattern when they are in medium low Ms pulse width.
