I recently got a turbo for my car and although i know a little im having problems w/ the technical stuff. i bought a t3/t4 and i plan to use it on a b16. it has a down pipe but its off a car running high boost and i plan to run no more than 9 lbs. the down pipe is 3" and i still have stock exhaust so i know i need to upgrade my exhaust but shold i go 2 1/2 or 3, and what could i do to keep it on a budget? i can weld so thats not a problem but im just not sure what to use? thanks in advance.

 

3" inch. Turbos love to breath! The more marrier applys here lol.
Get yours self some 3" piping and some mandrel bends and weld up an exhaust. Or talk to kteller on here he will sell you a complete pre bent 3" for a very resonable price. All you need to do is weld it up.
