Default What rpm will precision sc61 make full boost?

I have a Golden Eagle 84mm gsr block with 9.1 Endyne rollerwaves and mildly ported head with gsr cams and Type-r valvetrain. I was thinking of upgrading the turbo to a Precision sc61 but i would like to know at what rpm i can make full boost.

well how much whp do you want?
if your trying to push 450whp or more, go with the sc61.

The SC61 if i'm correct comes in different styles. I think i have the T4 60-1, my spools 10psi by 4.2k rpm and 1.7bar by 5.5k rpm

Mine has some boost over 3000, but it doesn't really start to fill up until 5000 and full boost by 5500. This is with 2 3" resonators and a 2 1/2 dynomay muffler, when I run less exhaust it seems to spool about 500 rpm faster.

Just get a smaller turbine wheel and housing. Even though you have alot of displacement you should be fine

Any thoughts on this turbo with a 81mm bore GSR? Will the spool time be drastically increased?

Wow, those are some pretty confident words!!! Let's see some graphs.
BTW, to answer the question, my sc61 gets full boost, 22psi at 5500rpm. It's an 84mm bore gsr wtih 9:1 compression.

if i've said it once, i've said it a thousand times. Once the 60-1 spools, it doesn't matter what the other guy has. It might not hit right away, but once you get full boost you'll be ghost. And as long as you cross the line first, who cares where boost hits.

more tangential turbine housings than the SC series, t04s housings standard, less shaft play, and it flows more air.

so whats the flow rating on the full race turbo series??and u gonna do a side by side dyno?or at least give us a dyno chart

your a **** talker dude! dont talk **** about a company. Maybe if you were an ethical business man and not a spoiled kid you would realize there is enough buyers out there for you to make money without bad mouthing a company.

personnally i would take a sc61 and a tinker mani over your **** any day.

i've always thought that it was funny how people complained about not making boost till like 5k. I know when i'm racing it never drops below about 4800-5k so it wouldn't really matter. Set the launch control at about 4500k and you don't have to worry about spinning them too bad.

it depends how you have it set up. do you have a digital msd 6 or something with it built in, if so then it's just a little screwtype ****. All my friends have pills or a rpm module selector msd **** that ranges from like 2500-6500 or up.
