Default what power to shoot for??

ive been looking into boost for awhile now. currently im running a b18c1 fully built with ITB's as well. im gonna do the turbo build this coming winter. but i want to get everything in order. so i can start parts shopping.

anyway, the question is. the car is mainly used for daily driver and autox. so what should i shoot for power wise?? i want as much as possible without being too laggy for autox. i was gonna shoot for 400whp. but im thinking that might be too lagy to run the track?? but on the other hand, you tend to run in the high RPM's when racing anyway, so lag might not be an issue??

im sure there are some turbo guys running autox. so please help me out. any comments suggestions.

thanx.

Well I'd say the precision SC34 but that's me. You'll see people say the 61 or others but it is your choice and you will get alot of that also. I should be done with my setup "installed" the end of this week and I started searching here back when I signed up August. I also just bought everything in the last month also. Do a search on your motor or "built motor" and see what people are running on there B18c's. That's the best advice. And make sure you have extra $ from however much you "are sure" it's going to cost to turbo cause it will be wrong. I read that **** before about the price is always higher than first thought and added everything up and a lil more for extras but still went over. Good luck

And the SC34 comes in 2 different A/R sizes that I know of .48 A/R and .63 A/R and the .48 will give you more low end "less lag" but I'm not sure since I have a B18b with my turbonetics T3/T4 50 trim .48 A/R. I will hit boost pretty quick but it won't die off up top due to me not reving high like a vtec.
