Default what oil pump for high power B-series engine ?

i have got the block fully built , darton sleeve, pistons , rods , etc

someone from here recommended not to use the oil squiters , cuz i can get higher oil pressure , unfortunetely my engine rebuilder already finished the engine before i have time to tell him

so now im stuck with stock oil pump setup

im aiming for 500-550whp

thanks

What do you have now? If you have an LS/GS/RS, it'll benefit from the higher flow GSR/ITR oil pump.

Go with a gsr or a itr oil pump and put the rest of the money towards a Fluidamper or Ati crank pully.

Hell yeah! I decided to invest in a Fluidampr pulley and I'm glad I did, even though I havn't started the car yet. The pulley just looks sick!

All B- series oil pump gears are the exact same part number, from LS to TypeR. The difference is the spring that disifers the amount of oil pressure the motor receives. Get a good harmonic (no aluminum crank pullies) and call it a day.
