I think your numbers are a touch high, but maybe.. I think for sure your torque numbers are WAY off.

Re: What numbers should i be looking for ? (komat)
I made 215hp and 162tq on an 18g with a street tune on Uberdata and 310cc injectors.
Your tq expectations seem kinda high, i think you having been reading too much about LS motors with the number you came up with

I would expect a minimum of 300whp out of any b-series setup. Your goals will be no problem at all, just keep turning the boost up until you get to 250whp.

I was commenting on his predictions at *8* psi. Anyone can keep cranking up the boost until they see the numbers they want, that wasn't my point. At 8psi, asking 200wtq from a B16 is asking a LOT.

I know, but people need to realize what "psi" you run doesn't mean anything. It's pointless talking about how much boost you run. Example, you could have one car making 400whp off 15psi, but another car making 300whp on 25psi. If this guys wants 250whp or 190wtq, he should turn the boost up until he gets there. His motor is defintely capable of his power/torque goals.

I disagree, look at this setup w/ a STRAIGHT t3 at 6psi, 2.25" dp and exhaust (225whp, 184tq).:

Beerbongskickass is one of the more intelligent do-it-yourself kids on here and he's right. Numbers vary from engine to engine, tune it right, and you'll easily make 250/180.

congratulations. not only was that LESS then 175tq, it was also FLYWHEEL ratings. Thanks for helping me prove my point.

No, you are still incorrect. That was 225/184 at the wheels.

Hmmm, then why does it say "flywheel" on the side of the chart?

Jeff Evans uses a dynapack chassis dyno. Also, those numbers were @ 6psi. Assuming a 15% drivetrain loss, that gives us 156 torque. At 8 psi, this number would be right around 175tq. So even if those were flywheel numbers, you just proved that we proved you wrong. Also, that was on a straight t3. A t3/t4 hybrid will produce more power at 6psi, a 2.5" dp and 2.5" exhaust will also produce more power.
Go and check out evans-tuning.com and see exactly how easy it is to make this kids goals on 8psi...
