Default What NEXT????

i just got rid of the inline fuel pump, replaced it with a walbro intank
got rid of the fmu
got rid of the missing link

i just installed the vafc and 440cc injectors, and got a profec b that isnt installed yet.
My intention was to run the hack at around 7 psi since i still have no tuning but isnt running the hack kinda like tuning your car? cause its messing wiht the ecu settings right?
Anyways, i got to talking to a guy online last night that works for thedropshop.com and he was saying that at 8psi with the hack he only had 244WHP. I think thats pretty decent. but then he said that dropshop makes chips similar if not better than uberchips. he said, you send your ecu in and tell them what you want and they create maps for you etc. (the whole nine yards). anyways, with the chip installed, he got 294WHP at 8 psi still. so does that mean, you get the chip allready set up and installed in your ecu and you dont need dyno tuning? if thats the case i would love to do that and use the vafc to fine tune.
My car is obd1, do you think i would be fine just running the hack and getting it on a dyno for an hour or so the way it is now? or is it completly necessary to get the chip? THANKS

ya, and you have to dyno no matter what for the maximum HP. every engine is different.

what im asking is, will my engine be fine if i run the hack and get it dyno tuned, or would it be better or is it necessary to get the new chip then get it tuned with the vafc installed as well. it makes sense to me , cause i wouldnt have a stock ecu anymore, thus having a better starting ground to make and run higher boost right?

you might as well get a hondata with the money youll be spending. you already got an intank and injectors anyway.

hows the car running dustin? this is Justin, we met at rt. 66 a few times, my buddy has the black LS and my brother was the one with red turbo teg.
i also think you should save your money up for hondata... you are already obd1, so no conversion needed. you have the injectors and pump too. just ditch the afc and get the hondata, the car will run much better. guaranteed. if you want to do so i know some people who can tune it for you and i know where you can score it for a great price.

lemme know dustin..
also IM me BroPo9420
