what are my options...
at the moment, i have a 94 del sol.
about 106,000 miles on a d15b7, the little 1.5 liter that could.
what are my options. im looking at 3000 to play with. can i use the block i have now, or is it a complete waste of time?
i know the d16z6 can take 220hp or so before the stock rods bend- can i build the stock d15 block with whatever rods, pistons and sleeves- and put a d16z6 head on it for similar power to the z6?
realistically, i am aiming for 210 to the wheels, but i want it to be as reliable as possible.
do you think this is worthwhile, or should i just pick up a jdm d15b vtec?
thanks to anyone who can help me out. can't wait to join the ranks of the d series ninjas, haha.

With $3k to play with, you swap a d16 (about $500) and build a custom turbo kit with management. For 210whp, you dont need huge turbo, huge i/c. That will save you alot of $$$.
