Default what motor combo?

ok guys....I just bought a LS(b18a1)longblock from the local junkyard. I have a b16a head ready to go ls/vtec...should I go ahead and do the ls/vtec turbo or should I stay straight LS turbo? I'm gettting the Haltech from Mark(b20c5 turbo) and running just forged pistons(still undecided, but Endyn is favorable right now)and eagle rods are purchased for the ls block already. Remember, this is in a full street civic 4dr, so it's kinda heavy...you think I'll get away safely running around 15psi(maybe 18psi depending on tuning)with a pretty much stock ls/vtec? What I wanna know is: Will I make as much power with the straight LS as a ls/vtec? Is the ls/vtec just as reliable?

Ls/Vtec is just as reliable and makes much power, especially at higher RPM and with your Haltec System U can tune it infinitely
