hey does anyone know what kind of turbo charger this is and how much it may be worth? obviously its a garrett turbo but thats about all i know about it. It came off my 93 del sol d16z6 motor when i bought it but i recently swapped it to a jdm type r b18c. the numbers off the hot side of the turbo are 'AR .49, M .56, Garrett 2 1/3.' the numbers off the intake side are 'AIR .48 <WI>1 Garrett M24.' also if i plan to turbocharge the b18c i have now would this turbo work well on that engine?

I've always wondered why people get a B18C* and then even consider running a dirty, 15yr old turbo.

Its fairly obvious its a T25. If you research the rectangular intake flange and the inlet sizes of the compressor, you'd be sure. If it is a T25, look at ~200whp max, *****-to-the-wall 18psi. Considering the same amount in bolt-ons/tuning can make about 190whp vs a sub-$1k turbo kit on a B18C, you'd really dumb to use that thing.

On a different note, that would be a great turbo for a non-vtec 1.5L.

i made 160whp at 8psi with a 1.6 sohc vtec with no engine upgrades except a thicker headgasket and arp head studs. and i was going to send it out and get it rebuilt if it would work on my b18c, please dont think im that dumb lol but i dont even think i want to turbo that engine, its so nice in factory condition and very quick with just the motor and no turbo. plus i want this engine to last a while and the combination of the turbo and the way i drive would mean a short lived engine. if you know anyone who wants this turbo with a turbo manifold for a d16z6 let me know i'll sell it for almost any offer. i just dont want it to go to waste.

looks like a TB25 definitly would get a rebuild theres a turbo shop called turbo power that rebuilt my turbo for my single cam cheap and ran strong they do upgrades to
