What has broken on your car since you started boosting?
Yesterday i melted the AC return line, actually it didn't melt, it caught fire! I noticed a little smoke when I was sitting at a light but i thought it was the coating on the manifold. When the light went green I punched it and watched my boost shoot up to 10 psi. I instantly droped out of gear and pulled over. The line caugth fire and burned the line from my turbo to wastegate! the AC line sits right over the turbo, i should have saw this one coming. anyone else brerak stuff?

Sorry to hear that man. I haven't been boosting very long but so far I've managed to break several big *** grins across my face.

i did the same with the air conditioner.. somewhere it has either melted a line or cracked a line and all the freon leaked out... i'm guessing it's either around the intercooler or around the turbo wastegate is my guess.. just hae to get down there and look at it..

Melted all my pistons by boosting from 70 to 140 mph in 5th gear. An expensive lesson to learn

7 pistons , rings, crank bolt, axle, wastegate diaphram, 1 sleeve, rims, control arm, prolly some other stuff too. timing belt too(not from misshifting)

I've broken... hmmm LOTS
2 pistons in ONE motor, two clutches, 2 axles, one transmission, my wallet, my checking account, my life, 2 credit cards I chose to break into tiny pieces when I realized I couldn't control myself, and PRAYING my turbo is ok right now.... We'll just have to see about that one.
GOD I must love boost to put myself through this shiznit.

I've somehow managed to blow a hole in my AC line.. I've also been through 3 pistons, 3 connecting rods, 2 transmissions, 4 right-side axles, 2 motors (before someone with some brains showed me how to do a turbocharged honda the right way), and a lot of tires 
And people still think after coming this far, that i'm crazy to work on a lousy D16Y8 Guess they're right, huh? Damn boost disease, its so addictive

I killed the 5th gear/reverse gear slider twice...

as for me, i broke one injector and checking account, credit cards, i basically sold my soul to the darkside. DAMN YOU.

I've had the kit on for about 4 years (GReddy kit on d16z6 w/stock internals) and the only things I've broken were some fuel lines untill I upgraded to steel braided, so far so good.
