What happened? Head Gasket, sleeves, head??? LARGE pics for detail...
So here are some details. When we tuned it at 7 psi there was no probs. So I go back to the dyno(with my 3 Bar ) to tune it at 16psi. Thats when the problem showed up. On the dyno at full boost my overflow tank would bubble.
Car held good temp
No coolant/oil mixture probs
If driven normal, there was no probs, only at full boost. Then coolant would be under my hood
ARP headstuds originally torqued to 67 ft lbs
I rechecked studs and they aere still at 67
Solid compression
Here are some LARGE pics for detail. All info is greatly appreciated....
By the way my head gasket fell in the dirt after I pulled it off

headgasket
I had the same problem, damn coolant spraying out all over the engine bay from that f'ing overflow tank.
Give her a new gasket, use copper spray, tighten to 80ft/lbs, back to the dyno

pre-torque the ARP's into the block about 10-15 ft/lbs, then torque the head down a little tighter.
platinum.

looks like its lifting the head.
make sure to resurface the head and make sure the deck on the block is straight

Right, im trying to rule out the headgasket.
If you dont hear any water rushing sounds, you're more than likely ok and it's not the gasket then.
Obviously coolants getting into cyl #3...so if it's not the gasket, the head's lifting like JDogg said.
What are you using to tune?

Of course
Didnt try going down on boost. Just left the tune as was and headed home. When driving normal, nothing above 7psi, it was fine. Only at full boost. So it was just lack of torque and the head was lifting. Just trying to figure out what torque I am going to go with now. I have ARP lube and oil.
I use AEM EMS..
Thanks for all the info guys, as always HT to the rescue
Chris....

Do you have any more shots of this cylinder?

does this apply to all motors (in my case ls/vtec with arp head studs)
