A chipped ECU would be good. Can that down load info into a lap top? He has an AFC on the car now.

Tell him to toss that in the garbage and run a real EMS.

He wants to keep all his factory accessories. I don’t see putting a Motec or fast unit in the car.
Yes I do agree you can't do much with an AFC. I am not a fan at all.

Tell him to throw in an AVC-R and he can datalog by reading from a XY graph, lol.
There are cheaper options... neptune, hondata, crome, etc.

If you are looking for an external datalogger type, why not integrate a Wideband with a datalogger...AKA, Innovate Motorsports.
I have a popular package that includes the Innovate LC-1 Wideband ($199), Moates O-Meter Display ($69) and the Innovate SSI-4 ($129) Datalogging Interface.
For about $325 you have an attractive wideband with 5 channels of logging (AFR, RPM + 3 more). The free LogWorks software from Innovate allows you to log directly to a laptop and analyze the data later.

I currently use the Innovate Motorsports wide band for tunning and I love it. That thing made my life so easy.
I was looking for somthing user friendly like the dsm link for the Mitsubishi cars. It is for the customer to use not me. He is just a guy that likes to watch his data. I am sure you know that kind of customer. Not that he would know what to do with info he is getting from the car.
Thanks for the info.

By the time he spends the money on a Datalogger, he could've just spent money on a Hondata that can datalog and he doesn't lose any accesories either.
Also the comment above by Anthony about the Tony1 datalogger, Tony is actually a dealer for ProLogger which is a very good unit
