ive seen the gt3076r make similar power to the 60-1. gt3082 woudl likely be in the same ballpark too.

i would think that just about any 61mm turbo is going to be about the same right? sc61, gt35, 60-1, dont they all share the same compressor wheel?

A/R is a .63, it's a 60-1 wheel on the compressor

The 60-1 is a huge compressor. It flows nearly 70 lbs/min.

To give you an idea of how much that is, the GT3076 flows about 55 lbs/min, while a GT3582 gets up to like 62 lbs/min.

Now the question you have to ask yourself is, "Do I really need all that lag when I can achieve my power goals with less?" And I'm sure you can.

he's probably not worried about lag...maybe looking for high horsepower #'s...

he's gotta ask himself how much power he wants to make first?

He was asking in comparison to a 3071 and a 3076, so I assumed he wasn't looking for 70 lbs/min. No need to make this into a "Which turbo should I get for this and that" thread, just keeping it to comparison.

id love to see a 60-1 that flows 70lbs min.

I wouldn't be surprised to get 70lb/min at around 2.2PR.

since when didn't they? Imagine blowing on one of those $.99 windmills you give to 4 year olds. Now imagine if it were a lot bigger. You don't think the force needed to turn the larger one would be higher?

So you mean a T76 with a P-trim .81 A/R backside will spool as good as a T58 with a .81 A/R backside? Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaalin!

im using a 62-1 on my 84x89mm setup and i get 10psi by 5000rpm.

btw my old 50 trim t3t04e made 7 psi at 5300rpm.

the 60-1/62-1 series turbos are nice but you are better off going with a gt series turbo or an sc61.

i think the 62-1 is supposed to flow 65lbs im not sure though.

hope i was some help.
