Default what fuel maganement?

right now i got a d16y8 soch motor in my car. i got a drag kit that is about to go in and i need a better fuel management. i dont want to use the system they gave me. i did some research and i came up with either hondata, greddy e-manage, and a few others. i would like to know what is cheaper of the them. hondata is very good, but i dont got cash like that, if it was in my range or 250 like the emanage i would have no problems. if any1 planning to get rid of a hondata drop me a line.

any replies is appreciated

Where did you find an E-manage for $250?? I always see them for $450++

One cheap alternaive is the AFC hack. $250 for an AFC and $50-100 for injectors and you're good to go. Otherwise, I'd probably stick it out and go for Hondata.

1. The AFC hack worked wonderfully on my Civic and on MANY other cars. I'm having issues with the GSR that aren't 100% related to the hack, which is why I'm going with Hondata now to narrow down my problems. I never said the AFC hack sucked.

2. The E-manage is a piggyback. Think of it as an AFC with alot more options, but it still can only manipulate what the stock sensors tell it, so it's naturally limited to what those sensors can/can't relay to the unit.

I got a deal with SFP, but it goes for $495 for the S200B. You'll need a P28 or other OBD-I ECU, an OBD-II to I adapter harness if you're OBD-II (another $150), $75 to rechip the ECU for Hondata, and then there's the tuning..

Gotta pay to play!

That's so true. I know a lot of people are happy with the el cheapo AFC hack (I used to run it), but I'd really just save up for something better. Do it right and go all out the first time around.
