its pretty cheap for what it is. and i do NOT want to run a log manifold. and i dont have the money to shell out for an equal length

I think it looks great for a cast manifold. Cast manifolds are great for reliability. Bolt it on and forget about it. Wastegate placement looks a lot better than a lot of other manifolds I have seen.

because its somewhat equal length, and wastegate placement is alot better...

that manifold is in NO WAY even close to an equal length....get a SPoolin log and you'll make better power than that cast thing and you dont have to worry about it breaking...i have that same manifold on my car and i love it...

SPoolin

Um, do you have any basis behind what you just typed or is this standard honda-tech, say it but don't have any theory/logic to back up what you are saying?

that is one of the best log mani's that ive seen. wastegate location in the middle of any mani is key. if i were you id get it. is that like a knock off of inline pro's SS mani?

it looks like its a combo of the inlinepro and drag (except better w/g placement)

i hardly doubt a log would make more power. you are basing this off of what? inlinepro/drag/revhard style cast manifolds have always made MORE power than typical log manifolds...not to mention on a log there is worse flow and not always the best w/g placement

^^Would you like me to post the pics of my GSR?? I'm running a SPoolin log on it because a buddy of mine with a similar setup had boost spiking problems with his cast manifold.....if you want pics, let me know....

What does that mean? Don't you remember middle school science class? You can only change one variable during a test to make it valid. The sheer fact you are comparing two different vehicles, dynoed at two different times, and basically none of the variables are constant really negates any comparison you are making.

Log manifolds are log manifolds. Whether they are made out of cast or welded steel, the idea, the function, the longevity is all about the same. If one makes more power than the other, it will be negligiable(meaning less than 5% gain).

i prefer cast manifolds over log manifolds for low budget setups because the cast iron holds in the heat better than stainless. so exhaust gas velocity and engine bay temps is a consideration to be made.

also, secondly i prefer cast maniflols over logs because all 4 runners are moving the the same direction untill they enter the turbine.

not like logs where 1 and 4 are fighting eachother.

doesn't cast known to crack?

either way i look at it, it's going to make the same power. who cares. in the end, it's just a log
