What on earth would cause this!
you might want to get the block bored over. IF you broke the ring land usually you get a nice notch on the thrust side that you can't get out with just honing. Also you piston skirts look little scored up, so your cylinder walls prolly don't look much better U also should not get crazy amount of piston slap. My buddy is running CPs in his gsr and it's barely hearable when it warms up (I mean you have to listen to it with a hood open). Take the block to the machine shop and have them bore the block to proper clearance that is set by the manufacture of the pistons for given application (n/a or boosted). Since you already blew your motor up twice I would suggest redoing the whole thing. Also somebody should retune your car.
Any damage done to the head? By looks of the piston it looks like some chunks hit the head.

I did this in my old motor, the cause of it was chunks of metal in the valve relieve area breaking off and getting shot out the exhaust, completely identical to what you got here, and my head was pretty chewed up too. Pistons were JE's and I was detonating bad, boost was around 13-14psi. Pull the turbine housing off your turbo, there is probably damage to the wheel.

well i guess the assumption was correct piston material hit the plug!!!!

they are. I convered several ecus to manual. All you do is remove one resistor and solder in a jumper

I saw B & M Tranny Cooler so I am assuming he is running an Auto Tranny in the car, never heard much about hooking tranny coolers to Manual Honda Trannys.
