What do you run in your setup?
I used 10w-30 Pennzoil dino juice for 17K. Daily driving and autox. I used Mobil 1 10w-30 once and it made the car sound weird, burned more between oil changes, and sludged up more.
I changed my oil every 2500-3000 miles. With the pennzoil I put in 4 qts, got back 3.5-3.9 qts everytime.
edit:I still use the pennz dino juice, but I am running 5w-20. I've been running NA for the last 23K miles.

castrol non-syn 10w-30 in my turbo motor and all motor setup, I have a question for some of you guys using 20w-50 on your turbo motors, I had smoking issues with 10w-30 castrol gtx non-syn and I ending up trying out that cheap walmart "super tech" oil 20w-50 and the smoking problem went away, so is it better to use 20w-50 in turbo cars rather than 10w-30 all year around? reason I ask is because winter is coming, and I don't wanna run thicker oil if its gonna cause problems.
HONESTLY!! i have been using whatever is around. I broke the motor in on 4 quarts of cheap Shell 10w40...
Then i scored 5 quarts of Royal Purple (car ran a lil rich b4 getting tuned and got some fuel in the good stuff.. what a waste)
Since then i have been running on Castrol 10w40. Havent had one oil related problem.

What is the diff in these two? The reg 20w-50 and THE RACE ONLY STUFF?

Wow, I have to say I didn't expect this thread to become such a success, lol. Since this I've tried running Royal Purple and although it's working fine, I can't see much of a difference over Mobil 1 to be honest. I guess it would help if I had an oil temp gauge.
