just wait for 15-30 seconds if you're about to turn off the car after hard running.. and 5-15 seconds if you been driving in vaccum for some time before shutting the car off.. just drive around in vaccumm before parking and you don't have to wait as long.

I hit my two buttons on my remote control alarm and walk out with the car running still, then when I feel it idle long enough I remote shut down it.

Just use your own descrepency.. If you've been hard on it. let it idle for a while.. if you were jsut city driving and not boosting, then only need to idle it for a tiny bit. but for quicks top and gos, liek gas for instance. you can shut it down right away as you're gongi to turn it back on within a decent time.. It's oaky for it to be hot when you turn it off, but only if you're turnnig it back on soon.. letting it SIT for a long time with it cooking is what kills them

I dont think its even nessecary to let it idle unless you've driven it hard up until the point you parked it. If Im driving it hard on the highway I have a few miles of cool down time from there until my house. The moving air and low engine load is much better than just idling hot.
