Shut off the engine, I think it is not a good idea, cause the coolant circualtion is off. --> engine gets more hooter
Driving about 50 mhp to get enough wind thru the front mount coolers? I guess
When available, spraying lots of water on the front mount intercooler & radiator while the car is idling, I think
x2
Any other good ideas when this happen?

Put your heat on full blast.
Works great, my friend's hatch used to overheat alot, when you put his heat on full blast you could literaly see the gauge go down.

HAHAAHA, that was actualy a typo!!
What do you mean with full blast? Drive as fast as possible to bring the temp down?

If you are overheating and you drive faster the engine WILL NOT cool down, it
will just get hotter. And pouring water on anything isnt gonna help either.
Turn the heat on full and if that doesnt work, then shut the engine off before
the head warps.

If I overheat at idle, and I mean like long *** drive thru idle...only then that damn taco bell at 11:30 my gague gets like almost H...other than that im always like 2 bars from C...head gasket?

I thought on driving about 70mph, cause the gas pedal must only be diped to hold that spead and the engine is not under load. Turning the engine off is bad, cause I saw it on a turbo diesel (we pulled a trailer with 700kg and this car had only 75hp on a 35 deg C hot day always on WOT) when we turned the engine off on the gas station the coolant temp gone very high up. I started the car and it went back.
usually turning the heat on to high on fresh works...but if you're like me and bypassed the heater core, then you're fucked...
any suggestions for that?

mount a 2nd radiator elsewhere and mount a switch inside the cockpit to activate it when you use em.

one thing most of you have forgotten to mention about the heater trick. You MUST be sucking the air from outside the car. If you have the heater on circulate, pulling from the inside of the car, all you get is sweaty driver.
Same here, when I first built my coupe, the radiator was not wired up properly and it started to overheat so I turned the heat on full blast and it cooled the engine almost instantly.
aluminum radiator with an electrical water pump... problems solved... and if u do overheat... u can shut the motor off and leave the water pump and fan running for a little bit

definately sounds like a blown headgasket.
definately sounds like a blown headgasket.
Dude, like, duh... just get a supercharger !
You will have a blower on the motor at all times and that means you will never be able to overheat ! Your new supercharger will be constantly blowing your motor, so your motor will be blown and won't ever overheat. Not to mention, you can get UPGRADED pulleys for your supercharger, so you would have pulleys too !!!
I don't get it tho ? Put the HEATER on ? It'll just make the car HOTTER ! I mean, like, everytime I put on my heater, I feel too hot, especially since I'm in Florida, and in Florida it gets hot and I like to be cool.

I can't wait to get me a supercharger, then I won't need an intercooler anymore ! YAY !

check your coolant for carbon monoxide gas? you mean the gas that is colorless and ordor less? are you sure your name is not super man?
yeah that gas. I think you check it with a special tool. You suck up some coolant in a tube with these ***** in it. If the ***** float or sink tells you whether you need to change out the fluid or not AKA carbon monoxides in the coolant or not.
How can the motor get hotter when the engine is turned off ?
Heat = thermal energy. Turn the motor off and the temperature will go down.
