Default What to do? ECU

I have a b16a2 totally built ie...b/p balanced, decked, polished lightened crank, 9:1 pistons, block guard, rods, rings, seals, rev valve train, type r flywheel, act stage 2 clutch, turbo skunk 2 cam gears, aem cams, skunk2 pulleys, 3-2-1 header, RC 550 inj., and last but not least Vortech Supercharger.......
Just want to know if I can drive it without having a hondata or having it dyno.....Ran out of money, and need the car drivable.... Also what kind of power do you think I have now?
Thank you for all of your help......

You maybe able to get away with running on a basemaped ecu.
Simply stay out of boost until you can afford to have the car tuned.

You do not have to buy hondata, you can have the car tuned on crome for a lot less money with the same result.

Read over: http://phearable.net/tech/efibeginnerguide.html

Check the tuner directories listed on http://phearable.net
Hondata, Crome, Neptune, Uberdata they all work.

I recommend you do a little research on tuning & read over: http://phearable.net/tech/efibeginnerguide.html

to answer that question, if you have no engine management, you have no safe power. safe to drive yes, safe to boost, no. base map, another no, no fmu, ding ding ding no again. also, the pulleys you speak of, are the lightened variety? if so loose them. your oil pump will thank you for it.

hate to be brash, but you can do it cheap in the short run, or do it twice and pay more to do it again in the long run.

g/l either way.

you have a good slolid foundation, but no management.

OK, So I took off the supercharger, but still have all the other goodies on it. Is it drivable now? The s/c had to be sent back to vortec due to the impeller getting bent during transport to the shop......thanks for all the help....

No, it's not drivable, you have 550cc injectors, different cams, different compression pistons, etc. The stock ECU will not be able to correctly run the car, mostly because of the injectors. It will put way too much fuel in the cylinders, washing them down and ruining your motor. John at LHT seems to know what he's doing, but he's up near Tampa, I don't know anyone down around Ft Lauderdale.

320's are usable, but at least get someone to scale a basemap for you. All that's needed [to be drivable] is for someone to take a stock map and reduce fuel all around about 15%. As long as its in closed loop, its not a big deal to *drive* it, but you certainly can't go hard on it - not even for a second. Go easy on it on your way to get it tuned, and do so ASAP. Neptune FTW. You've obviously waited a while for it to fire up the first time, so be safe and wait a bit longer.
