Default What to do?!?!?!?!

Those who've been around long enough know that I have one of the longest running builds in HT history lol. It's very close, with the engine assembled and installed in the car, I need only to install the axles, fill with fluids, wiring, and assemble/fabricate the turbo system. Everything has been bought and paid for.

The problem? SERIOUS lack of motivation to finish this thing. I have my S14 and it has satisfied my need for power and style on a daily basis. When I'm done with my work day, I have no time or energy to lift a finger to finish the Civic. I wonder if the money tied up in it wouldn't be better spent somewhere else... (house, back bills, invest in the shop, etc).

Those who know me and the set up are welcome to chime in. You can find out more info on this project at http://www.vapor-trail.net/civic.html

Why don't you finish it....look at from a business perspective:
Obviously the car is going to dominate, thats a given. If you finish it, you can use it to promote business. Or, once its finished you can sell it as a complete setup. Im 100% sure someone will take it off your hands. The potential of the car is staggering.
1. Use it to promote business (once completed)
2. Finish it and sell it (it deserves a good home)
3. Finish it and be reminded of why you started

i say finish it...when you have this much time and effort invested in a project if you part it out now your always going to wonder how it would have turned out..how much time do you realistically think you have left to do it? i would just pick a weekend and clear all obligations, and just go at it for a couple days and finish it...have some friends over to help and make a weekend out of it

Save it and finish it later, don't have to do it now, but would be a fun project for later.

John, if ur not motivated then i dunno man. I think you should do what makes you happy. When you spend that much money and that much time on something you gotta do it cause you love it and its fun, not for businuss or for others. but its just that you have been dedicated to it for so long i just can't imagine how you'd want to give it up now.

John at least finish it!!!! Then you will know what you want to do with it bro. If you sold it or never finished it, you will always WONDER WHAT COULD'VE BEEN! If you build it they will come............oops! Finish it and if you like it keep it and show what the shop can do, if you are tired of it or not impressed someone else is and sell it. Good luck John, I don't want us to lose you in the Honda wolrd dude. Good luck in the Civic and S14

holly ****, str1ngdah posted again, OMG....nice seeing you again man..

John, you're too far, too deep and too involved with the civic. It's a small glitch, but it will worth it in the end. Gotta finish what you have started.

good luck..

I didn't see this thread

You know I want to see you finish it. With everyone locally doing their Nissan thing it would be nice to see another stout Honda. Your Civic honestly gives me motivation to keep going with my project and not jump to the Nissan ... ... ...

Just let her sit there and collect dust until you are ready to work on it. I'm 110% positive Matt and Scott wouldn't mind helping you out.
