is this custom or what?

 

I used something like that with my Haltech. It had 4 external coils, maybe Buick products? that were wired just like that.

I had no dizzy though, I read off of a crank trigger.

worst piece of **** I ever tried, bought a distributor and an AEM EMS shortly afterword...

they dont look like buick coils, but motorola made them for the buicks.
it looks like either MoTeC or ElectroMotive.

 

I dont know but all I can say is : super clean setup and I really like the desigh of this manifold.... looks like it would create a lot of swirl and the turbine....

 

Looks like DSM coils to me. They work on DSMs with the factory ignition system well into the 10s and I beleive a few have ran them into the 9s.

 

Damn that guys running 8 injectors.
What intake and exhaust manifold is that by the way?

Yeah, I just noticed the 8 injectors too...

That's a lot of fuel! Looks like the car is a monster. Very nice

I don't know about the coil packs though.

the crank trigger set-up was crude at best. This was many many years before the AEM CDI stuff, and it might have also been tied to the Haltech turd I was running at the time too.
