what clutch to use 450-500 whp?
what kind of clutches do you guys with high hp use besides a twin disc... just lookin to get some suggestions...i need a new clutch... thanks btw its for a (92 ls-cable tranny)

competition stage 5 clutch with the x heavier pressure plate. or you can use the ACT extreme pressure plate with a 6 or 4 puck disc.

dont worry to much about the break in.. i never did with mine.. and the stage 4 and 5 have the same peddle feel so get the stage 5. with the heavier pressure plate that they sell.. it'll cost you around 415 with the heavier pp . the regular is around 315 plus.

I have that clutch and love it; however, for that power range, i would step it up to the stage 5 just to be on the safe side. That's not to say the Stage 4 wouldn't hold, but for a race application, a little heavier pedal feel isn't the end of the world. I'm not sure how its going to feel on a cable tranny
