what clutch for this setup??
im currently building a fully built ls/vtec motor and just picked up an ls 5 speed tranny. my power goal is 550whp. my question is what clutch should i go with for this setup. this is my daily driver. please include a part number if you can
be more concerned with the tq numbers.
competition may have one that will suit your need. as i think a twin may be a bit overkill.
if you go with c.c. may i suggest tempest racing.

My friend just tuned his K20a2 RSX and was running the stg4 comp clutch six puck sprung and it held 400+ wheel torque. It may have held 450 wheel torque but it did slip somewhere between 450-500 on his race tune. Same clutch Im running in my build.

The ACT version is not a sprung hub. That is not fun at all at stoplights if the purpose is both street and strip.

the spec stage 5 will work just fine on both street and strip. works good as a dd too if unless your planing on 7-800hp and plan on 600 plus in tq then i say twin.
