what clutch for this setup??

Default what clutch for this setup??

im currently building a fully built ls/vtec motor and just picked up an ls 5 speed tranny. my power goal is 550whp. my question is what clutch should i go with for this setup. this is my daily driver. please include a part number if you can

be more concerned with the tq numbers.
competition may have one that will suit your need. as i think a twin may be a bit overkill.

if you go with c.c. may i suggest tempest racing.

Comp stage 4 should work for you. its 6 ouck sprung hub. pretty streetable and grips well.

where can i find this clutch. i looked on ebay but thats as far as my search went. lol

Spec stage 5 or twin. i would do a twin with a light diaphram if it were me. pm me for more details

My friend just tuned his K20a2 RSX and was running the stg4 comp clutch six puck sprung and it held 400+ wheel torque. It may have held 450 wheel torque but it did slip somewhere between 450-500 on his race tune. Same clutch Im running in my build.

i was thinking of getting an ACT 6 puck for my lsvtec build going for 450+ hp

The ACT version is not a sprung hub. That is not fun at all at stoplights if the purpose is both street and strip.

the spec stage 5 will work just fine on both street and strip. works good as a dd too if unless your planing on 7-800hp and plan on 600 plus in tq then i say twin.
